Making South Lake Union Commuter Friendly South Lake Union is projected to gain 20,000 new employees by 2020. The Urban Mobility Group (UMG) has launched its program to support this growth by working towards a vision of the neighborhood that inspires half of all South Lake Union commuters to get to work without driving alone everyday. Working together we can avoid increased congestion, freight delays, and negative impacts to your clients and customers! Urban Mobility Group is meeting with companies, property owners and employees to determine what specific transportation and neighborhood improvements will help increase commute choices. UMG will also help employers get the most out of the existing commute options currently available. Are you a company or employee in South Lake Union interested in transportation and access?
