The South Lake Union Street Car The South Lake Union Screetcar will connect South Lake Union, the new waterfront park, Denny Triangle and Downtown. The Streetcar runs on a 1.3 mile (each way) route and will make 11 stops, with a travel time of 10 minutes from Westlake to South Lake Union. The South Lake Union Streetcar runs 7 days a week at 15 minute intervals!
The fare for riding the Streetcar will be the same as a one-zone Metro Bus ride ($1.25 during off peak and $1.50 during peak). Children under the age of 5 are free and the youth fare (ages 6-17) is $.50. PugetPass, Flexpass, Metro Tickets and Metro Transfers will also be accepted.
