The South Lake Union Street Car - Coming December 12 2007 

 The South Lake Union Screetcar will connect South Lake Union, the new waterfront park, Denny Triangle and Downtown.  The Streetcar will run on a 1.3 mile (each way) route and will make 11 stops, with a travel time of 10 minutes from Westlake to South Lake Union. 

The South Lake Union Streetcar will run 7 days a week at 15 minute intervals!

• Monday through Thursday: 6 am to 9 pm                                                                                                           
• Friday & Saturday: 6 am to 11 pm       
• Sunday: 10 am to 7 pm  

The fare for riding the Streetcar will be the same as a one-zone Metro Bus ride ($1.25 during off peak and $1.50 during peak).  Children under the age of 5 are free and the youth fare (ages 6-17) is $.50.  PugetPass, Flexpass, Metro Tickets and Metro Transfers will also be accepted.

Bonus - Free rides for the month of December.  Yes you heard us right, the Streetcar will be free to all riders for the month of December.  Come on board and give it a try.
